Terms & Conditions

Payments: (NON REFUNDABLE, CREDIT WILL BE APPLIED)
To confirm an order and secure the date, a deposit (50%) must be secured no more than 3 days after initial booking date. Deposits are non-refundable however in the case of a cancellation or reschedule by customer the deposit amount is transferable to future order with Sugar Mama Cakes.
Last minute orders (less than 7 days prior to collection date) are required to pay in full at time of order.
Payment of the remaining balance must be secure 3 days before collection date. No exceptions!
With completion of deposit you are accepting the terms and conditions in this guideline.

Ordering & Design:
Should you wish to change the design of your order, please contact us at least 1 week prior to collection. Changes may incur a small charge, should the new design require materials or time not taken into account in the original price.
All orders will be made to match the design to the best of our abilities, however some designs specifications cannot always be exact.

Collection, Delivery  & Storage:
To ensure a cake remains fresh for your event, its recommended that you collect the cake within 4 days of the event, unless otherwise specified by baker/decorator.
Please be mindful and respect our time as we do schedule for specific collection times so we can schedule other things around it. Collection dates and times will be arranged around our other commitments.
Should you wish for your cake to be delivered, a delivery charge will be calculated in respect to the distance travelled and time required. Delivery only available on request and will be accepted if we have time to do so. Otherwise all orders are schedule for pick up automatically.

Late or no show for collections:

Pick up times are again scheduled to work best for both customer and bakers times. Please respect that. 15 min grace period will be applied to late customer with NO PRIOR NOTICE! After 15 min grace period, doors will close and customer can retrieve their items upon our return. NO EXCEPTIONS!!

Complaints/Concerns:
All concerns need to be brought to the attention of designer at time of collection. Once order has been collected/received no refunds will be offered.
Upon collection, cakes should be stored in a cool place and should not be left in direct sunlight. Once the cake has been cut,  recommend that you cover the cake in tinfoil or Clingfilm as any sponge exposed to air will start to dry out. Cakes should be edible for around 4 to 7 days (if it hasn’t all be eaten by then).

Food Preparation and Dietary Requirements:
All ingredients are bought fresh on the week of collection and the kitchen has been approved by the Arizona Cottage Law.
All cakes are made in a smoke free home by  certified AZ Food Handlers card holder.
We are NOT a nut free invironment. Although most flavors/fillings do not contain nuts, some ingredients may contain traces of nuts.
It is your responsibility to specify any dietary requirements that guests may have.

Communication:
Please be mindful that this is a full time home business and that we do have other commitments. We try to reply to all messages within 24hours however this is not always possible as we are busy with other customers requests.
